An open ground is most often caused by the hot and neutral wires being installed in reverse. If you're sure that these two wires are properly installed then the next thing to check would be that the ground wire is properly attached at both the outlet and the panel and that there's no breaks in the wire between these two points. If your refrigerator is leaking water from the bottom then you likely have a frozen or clogged drain tube. You'll need to disconnect the power to the fridge and open the doors to let it defrost. From there you'll need to get to the back of the fridge to get access to the drain line.
